Gig & Rehearsal Schedule
The SOS Big Band rehearses every Wednesday evening from 8:00PM to about 10:00PM. Most members arrive around 7:30 to help setup and warm-up prior to start of rehearsal. Our rehearsal site is the Choir Room of Calvin Presbyterian Church, 126 Angell Road (a.k.a. Rt-116) in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
Visitors at rehearsals are always welcome. It is quite common to have folks come out to rehearsal and just enjoy the sentimental - yet exciting - sounds of the big band era. So, don't wait for a gig to hear us - come on out anytime! It's always fun for the band's members to play for an audience!
While we rehearse nearly every Wednesday, rehearsals may be cancelled due to bad weather, proximity to major Holidays, schedule conflicts, "summer break", etc. Feel free to contact one of the Band Officers for more information.
